Unit 3F – “The Evolution of Energy”

Product Thumb:

The refrigerator was created when? Visitors can travel through the history of electricity by way of an interactive timeline to see how the nation’s energy demands have evolved over time. Historic photos form a background for the timeline, which is integrated with an I-Wall.

Media Treatment (MT4)

Moving the interactive monitor (I-Wall) over key dates triggers images on the screen revealing facts, photos, and videos that relate to the specific time period. Content includes pioneering inventions, significant events, and subsequent policies.

Target Audience

Best suited for intended audience:

  • School students in grades 6 through 12
  • General adult audience
  • Specialists in energy industry
  • Government dignitaries and representatives

Given the interactive nature of this unit and basic principles addressed, it could also appeal to a slightly younger age group with an interest in science (grades 3 through 5).
